Kia Takatū-ā-Matihiko

Project: The Kia Takatū ā-Matihiko project was fully funded by the Ministry of Education and supports educators to understand and implement the revised digital technologies content in the Aotearoa New Zealand, Technology Curriculum.

Brief

The client was looking for a comprehensive programme of support that teachers and leaders could access anywhere, anytime. The programme had to be designed to support schools and kura in the integration of digital Technologies into their local curriculum. The programme was required to have a bicultural approach and a range of content that reflected local contexts and the variety of users.

Our solution

We designed Kia Takatū ā-Matihiko as a comprehensive resource, available in both English and Te Reo Māori.  In partnership with the University of Canterbury we created a multi media resource, which includied an extensive library of video clips in both English and Māori.
