He Whakaaraara
Brief
He Whakaaraara is an independent annual report to the nation, published in conjunction with EPIT (Education Partnership and Innovation Trust). The report brings together data, evidence and narratives about the scope and nature of inequity that exists in our education landscape.
Four videos were produced to accompany the 2023 research report. The videos tell the stories of the people from within the communities included in the study.
Our solution
We approached whānau in the communities who were passionate about sharing their perspectives.
The videos tell their stories as they outline the effect of educational inequities on their whānau from a personal perspective.
